Recorded finishes
| Brand / finish | Recorded type | Evidence and limits |
|---|---|---|
| ABI · Antique Bronze | Antique collection | Manufacturer range recorded. An equivalent wall-mounted swivel bath spout was not established in the research. Collection · Care |
| Astra Walker · Burnished Bronze / Charcoal Bronze | Burnished Bronze: PVD. Charcoal Bronze: living finish. | Living-finish appearance changes with handling and exposure. Website colour does not establish a match to the project handles. Finishes · Warranty |
| Brodware · Statue Bronze | PVD | Manufacturer finish and maintenance pages recorded. PVD durability or colour stability does not establish fingerprint resistance. Finishes · Care |
| Faucet Strommen · Armada Bronze | Manufacturer-listed finish | Perth sample availability unconfirmed. Fingerprint claims about other finishes do not establish Armada Bronze performance. Finishes |
| Sussex · Scala bronze options | LUXPVD Brushed Rare Bronze; Living Rustic Bronze. | Scala lists a curved swivel bath outlet. Exact finish/outlet/fitting combinations and stock remain unconfirmed. Scala · Care guide (PDF) |

Care and owner-review evidence
| Evidence | Recorded information | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Brodware maintenance | Gentle washing and prompt microfibre drying to limit water marks. Manufacturer | Follow the exact finish guide. This does not demonstrate fingerprint resistance. |
| Sussex general care guide | Wiping fingerprints and drying after use are included in the guide. Manufacturer PDF | Instructions cannot be transferred automatically to another manufacturer or finish. |
| ABI brushed-nickel owner discussion | A three-year owner discussion mentions fingerprints and hard-water marks. Owner discussion | Different finish; it does not establish Antique Bronze performance. |
| Brand review pages | Mixed experiences on Brodware and Astra Walker pages; exact finishes are often unspecified. | Brand reviews do not establish comparative performance of the recorded bronze finishes. |
| Project showroom feedback · ABI | Handling marks and a range perceived as limited for the brief were reported. | Subjective project observation, not a controlled finish test or independent owner review. |
Exact-finish fingerprint resistance remains unverified. The reviewed sources did not establish reliable owner evidence for the recorded bronze finishes. Living finishes develop patina; long-term appearance depends on handling, water and cleaning.
Unverified specification fields
- Colour match: actual tapware sample and Lucca handle under daylight, intended room lighting and side lighting. Website colours are insufficient.
- Handling behaviour: observed prints, water spotting and permitted microfibre cleaning on the exact finish. Showroom observations do not establish long-term performance; abrasive or chemical testing is outside manufacturer care guidance.
- Fixture coverage: basin and kitchen mixers, levers, shower fittings and wall-mounted swivel bath outlet in the exact finish.
- Procurement: exact SKU, care guide, warranty exclusions, lead time, replacement parts and stock.
